Basic Description: 
What this mod is all about:
This mod overhauls the visual aspect/functionality of melee fights allowing them to look more realistic and varied when compared to the original GTA V melee system. 
It completely enhances the melee combat system adding in new melee weapon combos, counters, finishers, fighting animations, taunts, damage/reactions and much more. It makes melee fights longer lasting, 
visually appealing and generally more fun.

Version 6.5.3: (General Improvments/Additions)
-Unarmed strafing has been overhauled for the base game of GTA V, and 13 new strafes (accompaning the previous idles) have been added
-Wing Chun Fighting Style now has fixed finishers (before when at low health it can spam on the enemy without killing them, this has been fixed)
-Fixed some underlying issues with takedown victim reactions not working for low_energy peds (Michael for example) against some of the other brawlingstyles.
-Improved melee combat flow and finishers setup. 
-Overhauled previous Boss fighting style to accompany more diverese moves, takedowns and attacks. (Can now use Wing Chun Combo Finishers as well as heavy brawler slams and some karate attacks)
-Improved AI of Heavy Brawler fighting style and now with any model assigned they now attack more frequently and dogeing/countering has a higher chance percentage.
-Added GTA IV (anim not used in GTA V) damage strafe seen in our latest video allowing for peds to hold waste and slowly try to escape after being attacked. 
-Replaced writhing animations of peds when they are dying to crawl when out of shooting base. Death animations is always a slow crawl. (Used from MP helicopter crash anim)
-Fixed some hit reactions for BS_NIKO, BS_CAPOERIA_MASTER and BS_WING_CHUN. 
-Fixed Niko style's left hook not landing. (Has appropriate strike bones)
-Included previous missing loudouts file
-Reduced possibility of crashes by removing generic distance strafe (Peds run up to you with assigned walk/run styles like in GTA IV)
-Add 10 new counters by Ferz Denikin to BS_NIKO and integrated them amongst other styles as well. 
-Replaced previous slow swoop punch with new knee strike counter anim. (Reminds me of GTA IV counter and is available to most styles when you press A)
-Overhualed Muay Thai unarmed combos to resemble authentic style
-Replaced Forward short 2 of Karate with a more fluent attack. 
-Niko brawling style can now use counter anims on story peds (still suggest not to assign to main story peds as some counters still break face bones, hit reactions have been fixed however)
-Fixed missing audio for boss double punch (A Button) and the psycho C takedown punch
-Fixed messed up Peds.ymt so styles will work properly and are all integrated efficiently

Version 6.5.2: 
6.5.2 change log: 
-Fully implemented anims from mixamo and unreal engine into all 14 styles
-New FULL Wing Chun Fighting style using all converted Unreal Engine anims from Ferz Denikin (Boring Neptune) with unique combos, counters, stance and finishers. (Special thanks to WeMakeTheGame for creating anims)
-Refined stealth takedowns
-All Fighting Styles have uniquely themed takedowns. All with new unreal engine anims provided by Ferz Denikin. (This makes switching styles more meaningful and adds realism and makes it easier to find your favorite takedowns!)
-added 17 Unreal Engine NEW front takedowns (Provided by Ferz) (all are assigned to different styles and include non-fatal(ragdoll)/fatal(no-ragdoll) paired victim reactions)
-added 5 new Unreal Engine counter anims to BS_NIKO (Converted by Ferz and are GTA IV inspired from UE) NOTICE: Have facial bone errors when fighting 3 main protagonists or playing with BS_NIKO assigned to either franklin, michael or trevor.
-implemented 4 new capoeria unarmed stances
-overhauled Drunken Master to Capoeria Master due to lack of shaolin drunken fighter martial art anims. (Don't worry, this will return in the future, but this style looks epic and follows similar coding)
-added 25 new Capoeria mixamo anims and sped up animations of previous and current conversions.
-Sped up and improved homings of all previously converted Mixamo melee weapon attacks and combos
-added all new counters to BS_Boxer, BS_Franklin, BS_Michael, BS_Trevor, BS_NIKO, BS_Grappler, BS_Heavy_Brawler, BS_AI, BS_Capoeria_Master, BS_Wing_chun, BS_Muay_Thai, BS_Karate
-added 9 new custom melee weapon counters for one_handed_clubs, knives and two_handed_clubs
-added new hit reactions and new non-target "downward" attacks
-Overhauled BS_KARATE with KP Flim karate attacks and new AUTHENTIC karate anims provided by Ferz (Thanks again kp-flim for your anim contributions!)
-Enhanced directional attacks of all styles
-Heavy Brawler has NEW front slam 'wrestler (WWE)' takedowns applied in combo finishers, takedowns and counters. 
-fixed all attack animation directions, removed some homing issues
-Overhauled AI and player combo movements, removing awkward long distance strafe, allowing AI to chase player with there unqiue applied movement styles.
-Created and refined custom hit reactions and homings to create many different custom combo finishers and counters (assigned to various styles)
-Enhanced AI combat for Niko style, Capoeria master, heavy brawler, all main story peds and Karate
-AI No longer "cuts" takedowns and will finish the attack before transitioning to other targets
-Replaced some BS_BOSS attacks for better flowing combos and transitions into finishers.
-Fixed arm break takedown homing (Is not perfect, but will hone into targets better with no objects near)
-Removed boxer side sweep strafe punch and added straight mid-punch (Flows punch combos better)
-Trevor's rage ability now activates boss fighting style and new insta-kill counters. 
-Set all new ground punch attack for all brawling styles besides heavy brawler and karate (Works only when unarmed)
-Updated all attacks to contain new anims, main focus was BS_Franklin, feel free to find out your favorite!
-Boss, heavy brawler, karate, Wing Chun all have sped up and improved forward long range attacks for melee wpns. 
-New AI support taunting animations for various styles!!
-edited attack damage for longer fights and health improves insta-kill ability on some fatal takedowns. (RAISING HEALTH (GOD MODE ACTIVATED ETC) OF NPC OR MODEL CAN RESULT IN POP-UP REACTION TO FATAL(non ragdoll) TAKEDOWN REACTIONS)
-Added new animations converted by Ferz Denikin!! Karate style has been overhauled with authentic anims and merged with previous combo attacks, new finisher capabilities and directional attacks that parry oncoming damage
-Includes optional unarmed damage installer, overhauled FX to have blood splatter similar to GTA IV, but at the loss of facial damage textures. (Looking to fix this later, install via seperate OIV)
-Still includes an optional overhauled and updated melee combat sounds stripped from Sleeping Dogs!! ;D (install via separate OIV included)

-Fully implemented all 81 anims from mixamo into all 13 styles
-added 4 new stealth takedowns
-added 6 new front takedowns (shoulder toss, ip man styled karate takedown, paired karate counter, paired melee battle, double leg takedown, double leg takedown finisher)
-added 5 new mixamo anims (mma low right kick, roundhouse left/right kick, double leg takedown w/o punch, includes victim response)
-implemented 7 new unarmed stances (All story peds have unique unarmed stances)

-Removed backflip kick in boss style for better combos replaced with high kick
-Removed forced recoil tags on anims, prevents awkward anim stops during combat
-fixed boxer's kick close b attack and added new double leg takedown stunner. (Does not finish ped but forces them to the ground for unarmed low attack follow up)
-Trevor's rage ability now activates boss fighting style. 
-Set all new ground tackle takedown as a finisher for boxer peds and all story peds (Works with all melee wpns)
-Updated all attacks to contain new anims, feel free to find out your favorite!
-Boss, heavy brawler, karate all have new various forward long range attack for melee wpns. 
-Unarmed Muay Thai contains new uppercut elbow barrage combo attack as long distant forward attack.
-Franklin fighting style has directional long distant uppercut elbow barrage combo attacks.
-New AI support taunting animations for grappler, muay thai, boxer all from new mixamo anims.
-increased story ped's health and duration for special abilities. (Kick close attacks (pressing A on controller) "parries", dazed reactions, add small ability recharge effect All special abilities are now 2x as long!)
-Added new animations converted by Ferz Denikin!! New very smooth karate attacks, medium right mma kick and suplex counter(WIP)!
-added New low mma kick when targeting downed peds.
-Included a NEW overhauled and updated melee combat sounds stripped from Sleeping Dogs!! ;D (install via separate OIV included)

Version 6.5: 
-4 New fighting styles have been added that include some of the unused new animations from Unreal Engine via AnimKit as well as some of our own. 
-Remade the OIV package for easier install includes already new anim clipsets as well as the previous missing relationships.del file. 
-New boss type fighting WIP style Drunken Master with custom fight moves from drunken fight vanilla sequence that has custom finishers, taunts, combos etc. 
-Damages and reactions have been updated and more user friendly. 
-Main player health has been increased as well allowing for michael, franklin and revor to take much more of a beating. 
-Muay Thai fighting style has been added which includes more of the previously added anims from unreal engine that were not included in previous version. Also has custom unarmed counters and unique melee wpn combos. 
-Niko fighting style has been added which includes more of the previously added anims from unreal engine that were not included in previous version. Has new combos, counters, finishers inspired by GTA IV.  
-Arm break animation has been added into the Niko fighting style for small wpn counters. 
-Karate fighting style has been given new initial attacks from the karate chop upper body emote and a custom palm strike created by me in AnimKit. (Removes the elbows and makes it more karate inspired)
-New grappler fighting style/ enemy type has been added. This fighting style is unique and incorporates all of the previous grapple movers used by the main story peds. It has some new fighting animations taken from different anims in vanilla GTA V and has working sounds etc. Pressing A on a controller can hold an enemy in place resulting in making them vulnerable to other opponent attacks. 
-New custom hit reactions and stumble animations are available. This includes new knock down, rise up anim. 
-New support taunts are available for all fighting styles and AI that use more GTA V Online emotes and taunts.
-Fixed the drunken brawler attacks and gave appropriate strike bones and hitbys.
-Boxer has some new taunts added from Divined's free anim pack as well as the shadow boxing anims. 
- Peds .ymt has been reedited and a new ped fighting style assignment list has been posted in "New Brawlingstyle info_Enemy Types_Edited ped list.txt" and this text document explains all strengths and weaknesses of each as well as describes what they are. 
- Reduced possibility of crashes. (I have had hour+ long playthrough without crash feel free to keep me posted ;D)
-fixed flying drop down punch karate attack
-edited bullet time and rage special abilities (trevor, michael) and increased possible duration.
-added in new attacks to trevor while rage ability is active. (can suplex peds or takedown someone with a melee wpn or unarmed instantly)
-new dazed reactions for player using BS_TREVOR

Version 6.0: 
-ALL fighting styles have been revamped with new animations from Unreal Engine via AnimKit as well as some of our own!! (Video showcases them all) 
-You no longer have to cycle weapons to activate animations. (HUGE RELIEFFF) 
-It is a much easier installation where all animations are contained in one clipset. 
-New custom goofy Drunken Brawler fighting style with custom fight moves from drunk fight vanilla sequence that has custom finishers, taunts, combos etc. (Just for fun) 
-Damages and reactions have been thrououghly revamped and should be more realistic when using melee weapons etc. 
-Boxer fighting style is now completely overhauled with new animatons and takedowns. 
-Arm break animations as well as all other new unreal engine takedowns/finishers have been given variations where the victim is ragdolled or executed. (Adds full animation visuals)
-Karate fighting style has been restyleized, overhauled and is full of new enhanced punching/kick combos, animations, taunts, intros and more! (Looks alot like Yakuza or Sleeping dogs)
-More grapple moves have been implemented when pressing "A" on remote while locked onto target or "kick button" on keyboard, for the following brawlingstyles. Now the drunken brawler can grapple from behind in a headlock or front tackle. Front tackle and tackle counter animations are available for Heavy Brawler fighting style as well. 
-BS_michael, BS_heavy_brawler, BS_franklin, BS_boss all have new attack animations that add flare, meet the style profile and provide stunning range of unique possibilities in combos and melee weapon attacks. 
-New custom hit reactions and stumble animations are available. 
-New taunts and intros are available for all fighting styles and AI. 
- Peds .ymt has been reedited and a new ped fighting style assignment list has been posted in "New Brawlingstyle info_Enemy Types_Edited ped list.txt"
- Animations no longer stop working and performance runs much better. 
- Reduced possibility of crashes. (I have had hour+ long playthrough without crash feel free to keep me posted ;D)

+New grapple attacks implemented throughout all fighting styles. (Casino brawl throw, neck break/gut punch, and grapple headbutt) Can activate when close enough to "shove" the enemy. BS_trevor throws, BS_michael headbutts, and BS_franklin snaps kneck. Armed with guns (any fighting style) and up close with an attack cycles through all. 
+New Heavy_Brawler kick close attack "Russian Drunk bar fight/tackle sequence". (Press A on controller) 
+Edited damages for more better gameplay.
+Boss has revamped melee combo (new takedown anim ATTACK moves) with knee strike finisher (TheFuumaSage)
+Better melee reactions from hit while walking and standing idle.

INSTALLATION (HOW TO INSTALL): (read carefully please) 

1. Open OpenIV, go to the "tools" tab, click on "Package Installer". Double click the OIV file "UEFA V.6.5" and then click "install" and "install into mods folder". 

Other features IF YOU WANT THIS MOD TO LOOK/SOUND LIKE THE VIDEO READ BELOW: 
2. Use this same path and install "New Melee Combat Sounds v1.5" to make the sounds MUCH more brutal! Stripped from the game Sleeping Dogs and upgraded version!!
3. Use this path to install "Ultimate Enhanced Melee Stances" to overhaul the unarmed stances and add much better functionality!
4. Use this path to install "IV Unarmed Damage Effects" to have blood splatter effect to unarmed punches as seen in 6.5.2 showcase. 

OPTIONAL:
4.Do the same for the other OIV file titled "Remove MW Fears" IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE GENERIC PEDS RUNNING AWAY FROM DANGEROUS LOOKING MELEE WEAPONS...(machete, hatchet, dagger etc)

GAMECONFIG CREDIT_INFO AND ASSISTANCE: Explains who created orignal gameconfig and helpful tips when editing gameconfig or experiencing crashing issues.

GAME DIRECTORY FILES (REQUIRED): This folder contains "installation notes" within "READ ME" for required game sizing files. (without your game will crash on startup or have infinite loading screen)

UNINSTALATION_(OIV PACKAGE HELP): Explains how to uninstall the mod using the OIV package named "UEFA Uninstall"

BACKUP YOUR FILES: 
I recommend you backup your update.rpf, common.rpf and x64c files before installing this mod. They are hefty files so be aware of your computer space, but this will help make sure you can revert quickly to previously edited files without reverting back to vanilla via uninstall package. 

YOUR GAMECONFIG WILL BE REPLACED BY THE OIV's WITH THIS MOD, HOW TO UPGRADE ORIGINAL?:
This mod changes your gameconfig automatically to have the one necessary for this mod and uniinstaller will add vanilla config. (After joining the discord community below, go to gameconfig-manual-edits) to manually edit your exsisting gameconfig if you desire to keep your previous config. (gameconfig contained in this mod was built from the ground up from limitless vehicles with author permission) or go to mod-fixes channel of our discord community to install updated test files. (If provided)
